Historical stratifications

In this autumnal atmosphere buildings are as rock layers that show the passing of time.

In 1813 the Parsonage courtyard was used as Museum of ancient stone tablets that nowadays includes also Celtic and Roman finds.

Behind the Parsonage the white of the Neoclassical Cathedral contrasts with the pale red of the bricks. These are what remains of the ancient Romanesque Cathedral, built on the Medieval one and then destroyed and rebuilt by Antonelli in Neoclassical style during the XIX Century.

In questa atmosfera autunnale gli edifici sono come strati di roccia che mostrano il passare del tempo.
Nel 1813 il cortile della Canonica fu adibito a Museo Lapidario che oggigiorno include anche reperti Celtici e Romani.
Dietro alla Canonica il bianco del Duomo Neoclassico contrasta con il pallido rosso dei mattoni. Questi sono ciò che rimane del vecchio Duomo Romanico, costruito su quello Medioevale e poi distrutto e ricostruito da Antonelli in stile Neoclassico durante il XIX Secolo.
