There are a lot of pictures of flowers on CDPB (and everywhere else, I think). Most of them are pretty boring. You have done something different here. The extreme close-up shows only the heart of the rose, with its most subtle forms and coloration. Good work.
I'm always interested in the technical aspects of good photos - it helps me learn. Did you use a macro lens or extension tubes for this shot?

Wow.. Nice shot with a Panasonic Lumix! :D Nice pastel colour of rose, though. I've never seen a rose with such a unique colour blended altogether. Lovin' it! :D
the colors in this is very gentle and warm to the eyes! Nice !!
