The Broletto
In the Middle Age the "Broletto" was an enclosed square used for the administration of justice and public meetings.
The Novarese Broletto and the Arengo Palace (the meeting building) were built between the XIII and the XVIII Century, while the wonderful covered staircase is a reconstruction realized at the beginning of the 1900.
Decorations and fresco paintings beautify the buildings that host museums and art galleries today.

Durante il Medio Evo il "Broletto" era una piazza recintata utilizzata per l'amministrazione della giustizia ed assemblee pubbliche.
Il Broletto di Novara ed il Palazzo dell'Arengo (l'edificio delle assemblee) furono costruite tra il XIII ed il XVIII secolo, mentre la meravigliosa scala coperta è una ricostruzione realizzata all'inizio del 1900.
Decorazioni ed affreschi abbelliscono gli edifici che oggi ospitano musei e gallerie d'arte.
